      Now we'll need a sky background. First, let's make a new layer under Background Line Cell Shading. Basically all we have to do is to experiment with a color using cell shading until we find a color we like, then we'll be using watercolor to make it smoother. After you have completed that, make the Background layer invisible, as we do not need it anymore.



Layers
Foreground Line Art Your line art of your character(s) should be done here. Take your time to make smooth lines using the Brush Tool with a Brush Size of 1 px, and Flow of 80%.

Foreground Watercolor This layer should be a copy of the Cell Shading layer. Select the Brush Tool with the Brush Size of 1 px, and Flow of 80% and start smoothing out the parts between the light and dark shades.

Background Grass Use the Brush Tool with the Brush Size of 1 px, and Flow of 80% to do the line art for this layer.
Background Grass Watercolor This layer should be a copy of the Background Grass Cell Shading layer. Select the Brush Tool with the Brush Size of 1 px, and Flow of 80% and start smoothing out the parts between the light and dark shades.
Background Grass Cell Shading You should have first used one color for each part of the drawing and color it all in respectively using the Pencil Tool with a Pencil Size of 1 px. Then use darker shades of color using the Pencil Tool with the Pencil Size of 1 px.

Legend
Active/New Layer This a new layer, or this layer is currently being worked on and/or other art related processes.
Visible Layer This layer is currently visible, but not in use.
Invisible Layer This layer is currently invisible, but will be visible once a certain task has been completed.
Useless Layer This layer is currently invisible and will stay that way, this layer has been used before, but it has outgrown it's usefulness. I usually don't like to delete layers on my drawings.
