Yes, I did! I submitted the entry of "Shoyru" in the create-a-pet competition. The neopets team did not create Shoyru. Although... they DID buy "Shoyru" from me.

| How did you create Shoyru?
|
The idea of Shoyru generally came from two themes that I like... which is "Pokemon" and "Dragon"... (Yes, I was a Poke-fanatic). And I was thinking for making the two combinations combine and form into something kawaii (cute). So, I took my favorite Pokemon (Myuu), and chubbied it up a bit, with a thicker dragon like tail, and some dragon wings.... presto! I have just created "Shoyru".

| Will Neopets ever hold another "Create-a-pet" competition again?

Oh, I wish! That would be so cool! Anyway, I have no way of knowing... Neopets held a "create-a-pet" competition long time ago because it was for promotional purposes only... VERY few people were playing neopets at the time. Now that neopets is popular now, I doubt that they would hold another one, though... I'm planning to enter again, if it's still possible for me. Last time there were three winners! The first was my Shoyru! The second was the Zafara... The third was... an Acara (thanks to lemoncandyz for the heads up).

Oh yeah, I'm quite suprised too, who would have thought that one neopet created from a user would have so much more appeal than any other neopet that the staff had created... I would find that quite amusing. Though it's kind of ironic though, since I don't have a Shoyru...

| Why on earth do you have an Krawk named Shoyru?
|
I first had a Cerpull, I named him "Shoyru". After a while, the Cerpull turned into a "Tatsu" and now, it has turned into an "Eyrie". Which... out of boredom, changed into a Krawk.
In other words, I had a Cerpull named "Shoyru" even though "Shoyru's" never existed... now how is this ever so possible?! Go see the next question...

| How did your neopet become so strong?

Hmmm... Well... a while back, the faerie quests wasn't a random event. You can actually choose to take on a faerie quest if you want. And if you turn down one of the faerie quests, you'll have to wait thirty minutes to start on another faerie quest.

I have received many many requests to fight pets EVERY DAY. When I was back from my one week vacation... I was flooded with loads of challenges and the challenge page wouldn't even load properly... In fact, it would sometimes crash my browser. It is pretty difficult to manage all the requests... that's why I have disabled the challenges.

I can't believe people actually ask me this question! No, I don't want to trade my pet away... even for a "godly" pet! I want to keep my pet forever. Please refrain from asking me this question, I hate wasting time deleting irrelevant neo-mails.

Uh... okay, I'm not sure if you're joking or not. I will not babysit anyone's Neopets. If you're planning to take a break from Neopets and would like your pets to be happy and fed, I recommend placing them in the Neolodge in Neopets. All you need to do is to spend a few hundred Neopoints to keep your pets well fed and happy for 30 days.

Sigh, my account was taken over by cheaters. I did not fall for any scams, but Neopets refuses to believe that, so there's no point left in fighting a losing battle. My account was hacked a total of 10 times in it's life time, may it rest in peace.

I'm going to move on with my life of course, it as been too much of a struggle with Neopets. They used to be a small and very caring company, now that it has blown into a huge corporate business, their customer service has gone downhill.

Have you considered looking at the money tree? It may be hard for you to get items there, but let's just say that you're better off taking your time there than requesting me for items instead.

If you want to find a certain item, you'll have to go to the Shop Wizard. and place the search as "identical to my phrase" if you know what the item really is.

|
Well... first off, I'm a bit rusty on this subject. You can go train in the Mystery Island Training School. Or go to Krawk Island and enroll your Neopet in the Swashbuckler's Academy Other than that... hope for a random Faerie Quest!

| How can I get my pets to learn X ability?
|
Hmmm... if you want your pet to learn a skill, you'll have to get a Bottled Faerie and use it on your pet. Your pet has to be in a certain level to learn a skill...
Check out the Pet Abilities page when you get the chance. It will list then level requirements that you have to meet before you can learn that certain skill.

There are currently six different types of Faeries that gives abilities... The six of them are...
Earth Faerie
Water Faerie
Light Faerie
Dark Faerie
Fire Faerie

The Water Faerie raises your defense
The Fire Faerie raises your strength
The Air Faerie raises your speed
The Dark Faerie raises your HP
The Light Faerie raises your level
The Earth Faerie restores your pet's health and makes them bloated
The Faerie Queen raises random stats.

How did I get a Krawk you say...? Well, my pet used to be an Eyrie, so I just used a Blue Krawk Morphing Potion (1.5-2.5 Million NP).

How did I get a Krawk without morphing potions, eh? Well... make sure you have about 5 MILLION np with you (no kidding), make sure you have less than four pets. go to the trading posts and type in "Krawk" you'll notice that ultra rare petpet. BUY IT! after that, give it to one of your pets. Then give your krawk petpet a name. Once you've done that, go to krawk island and to the secret fungus cave. If you don't know where it is, here's the link to the Fungus Cave
after that, give your Krawk some fungus to eat (in the cave) it will transform into a Pet now! (you'll lose your petpet though).

Hmm... a newbie... well, you should always play their games, they give the most neopoints, plus, some games are free to play. Also, you might want to do this everyday...
Test Your Strength 100 NP per play, risky, but might win big!
Wheel of Excitement 100 NP per play, max is 10k win.
Healing SpringsHeals your pet or gives you an item for free.
Tombola Once a day, might get great rare items for free.
Coltzan's Shrine Once a day, you might get stats up on your neopet for free.
Fruit Machine Once a day, might win rare items for free.
Giant Omelette Once a day, free food.
Giant Jelly Once a day, free food.
Scratchcard Kiosk Sells for good money after you buy, one each 6 hours.

Hmm... it takes lots of time and practice. if you want to learn about some html codes, you can try Html Goodies. That's where I learn most of my HTML skills at. If you REALLY want to start at the basics, you can go to Neopet's HTML Guide page. Their page starts with REAL BASIC HTML codes.

Sigh... I'm getting tired of commissions for neopets, if you want to make your own, I would suggest using Adobe Photoshop, or Paint Shop Pro, they are both very good programs.

| How do you draw so good?
|
It takes time and patience to draw... it took me 7 years to develope my drawings skills... and although they are still not skilled enough for the real world... I keep practicing until I can get what I would call a "professional" style art. So... try to start drawing as much as you can... I started out with stick figures... and slowly worked my way up to the top.

| What program(s) do you use to draw?

I usually use Adobe Photoshop CS for my offline drawings... they offer alot of different tools that are essential for me. If I'm drawing online, I'm usually at an Oekaki using either PaintBBS or ShiPainter Pro.
